Our client is a leading logistics provider based in Bolton who are looking to add an Account Manager to join their growing team. As Account Manager you will be focused on managing a portfolio of existing B2B accounts looking to retain and grow the relationships within the accounts. The Account Manager role is an internal based role and you will look after clients over the phone, email and virtual meetings.
As account manager you will;
- pro-actively manage the agreed service levels
- dealing with day to day queries and issues
- manage the retention of customers
- be consultative with client to look at potential opportunites to expand the revenue in accounts
The ideal person would have experience in a B2B Account Manager role; developing and nurturing relationships and looking to increase account spend over a set period of time. It would be beneficial to have a background in parcels, packets, mail, delivery management or a similar industry but our client is open to experience. The right person will be an excellent communicator; able to build relationships and a driven candidate.
On offer is the opportunity to join a leading and stable business with an attractive starting salary of £22,000 - £27,000 per annum depending on experience and opportunity to earn bonus. Additional earnings of £3,000 - £10,000 per annum are achievable but dependant on performance. The role will be based in their Bolton site with on site parking with the option to work from home one day a week.
