Emblem Aviation is currently looking for an experienced A&P mechanic to work in our FBO facility in beautiful Pinedale, WY located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Normal duties include but are not limited to routine inspections, corrective actions, basic troubleshooting, replacement, alterations, and repair of aircraft, helicopters, and their systems. Successful applicant must have a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate, and an Inspection Authorization rating. However, if the applicant could obtain an IA within 6-12 months Emblem would consider working with the applicant. General Aviation and Helicopter experience is a plus. We are looking for an employee who has a positive attitude, works well with others, has a good work ethic, and a self-starter.
Duties and Responsibilities
The selected applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Preventative maintenance on aircraft and helicopters
- Line maintenance and repair
- Scheduled aircraft and helicopter inspections
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Repairing, replacing, and rebuilding aircraft structures, including repairs involving aircraft sheet metal
- Other FBO duties
Qualifications
Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:
- Must have A & P License
- Must have 2+ years' experience as an A&P, with recent turboprop and helicopter experience
- Preference given to Beechcraft King Air and Robinson experience
- Knowledgeable in basic fixed wing aircraft maintenance
- Ability to locate and follow aircraft/engine/component maintenance manual instructions
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
