The Role Due to our continued success here at Fortem, we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking a Bricklayer to join the team at our Onward branch, covering the North West, Stockport area. This is a permanent trade position working hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday contracted to 40 hours per week.

The Project The role involves carrying out all aspects of Bricklaying/Groundworks, to a high standard, with the minimum of Supervision. As a multi-skilled trades person you should also be able to carry out other multi-skilled works to enable you to complete the whole job rather than just your core trade.
You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. You will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas. Typical work will comprise of maintenance/renewals to properties.

Essential And Desirable Criteria The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
Essential Criteria:
- Certificate in Bricklaying or NVQ 2 in Bricklaying or the equivalent
- Previous bricklaying/building experience
- Certificate + CSCS Blue Card
