Job Summary

Strategically located in Devens, MA Avantor is seeking Cleanroom Supervisor for the Biopharma division. We are in search of a Monday through Thursday Supervisor to lead production cleanroom operations. With the highest regard for safety/ quality this leader will be responsible for:
Fabrication, assembly line maintenance activities
Supporting Schedulers to establishes production timelines
Planning work assignments
Partnering with the team to respond to quality issues, material shortages and equipment malfunctions
Ensuring cleanroom prep work is completed including records
Reviewing the manufacturing process and inspecting assemblies

Required Experience (Three+ years):

  • Team/ people leadership (train, coach, motivate)
  • Microsoft Office
  • Assembly/fabrication within a cleanroom environment
  • Evaluate /implement process improvement

    Preferred Experience (Three+ years):

    • Supervisor/ team lead within a cleanroom environment
    • Developing manufacturing protocols for assemblies
    • Working in a manual insertion assembly environment
    • Problem-solving skills 

    Minimum Education:

    • Bachelor's degree

Furthermore, the job requires associates to lift/carry/push or pull up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.  Associates use both hands for repetitive actions such as grasping and manipulating as well as both feet for repetitive movement operating foots controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
