My client, a leading Personal Injury Law Firm with offices across the North is looking to recruit Costs Drafters, Costs Lawyers and Costs Negotiators to their high-performing team.
You will be providing bespoke costs drafting support to colleagues within the Credit Hire team. You will be responsible for the management of a bill drafting caseload, ensuring delivery of high-quality bills of costs.
Responsibilities include but are not exclusive to:
Drafting bills of costs (using CostsMaster drafting software) in both traditional and electronic (Precedent S) format
Preparing Costs Budgets in form Precedent H in accordance with Departmental requirements/workstreams
Managing your own caseload dealing with complex matters
You must have Minimum of 6 months experience in a Bill Drafting, Budgeting or negotiating role, proficient in using CostsMaster drafting software to draft bills in both traditional and Precedent S (electronic) format. Qualified lawyer experience is desirable but not essential.
You will have a good understanding of the CPR, relevant legislation, case law and costs industry regulations.
