Quick overview of the role:
Working in the credit control department, maximising cash collections in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Ensures that cash flow is maintained to Company expectations.
Salary
£10.50 per hour
What will you actually be doing?
Overseeing the collection of overdue payments in line with the Company's KPI's via telephone and post within the target times set.
Debtor Days, Aged Debt, Bad debts
Ensuring all customer contact records are accurate and updated
Responding to customer queries, logging, and forwarding to relevant business unit for investigation and resolution. Follow up on resolved queries ensuring payment is received for previously disputed items
Handling all communications relating to suspension of accounts and advise depot promptly of any account changes
Be aware of credit risk on credit accounts and conduct credit limit reviews when applicable
Initiating legal processes when all other collection means have failed
Complying with compliance rules and regulations regarding customer data and customer bank informationWhat hours will I work?
8:30AM - 17:00PM
40 hours per week
An ideal candidate will:
Comply with Sales Ledger Procedure Manual
Be responsible for the collection of monies from customers as per the dunning cycle.
Mitigate the risk of bad debt to the business by ensuring that customers trade within their assigned credit limits.
Adhere to data protection and compliance procedures when detailing with customers bank details and information.
Skills and Qualities
Good written and verbal skills
Be computer literate, and comfortable working on excel, word and email
