A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Support Assistant to join a manufacturing company based in Hertfordshire. The role will involve providing an efficient support service to customer and is best suited for someone with at least a years customer service experience with great organisational and communication skills.

Key Duties:

  • Provide support to customers over the phone/emails about products
  • Update troubleshooting manuals
  • Raise purchase orders for repairs
  • Liaise with service centre with equipment fault diagnosis
  • Manage customer products returns, exchanges and repairs
  • Arrange delivery, couriers, delivery notes and collections for customers products
  • Process sales orders and customers payment methods by phone or email
  • Prepare and send sales quotes to customers
  • Open and amend customer details
  • Manage database administration and warranty renewals
  • Check daily stock counts and prepare daily order statistics
  • Assist the department and the Financial Controller when required

Key Skills:

  • 1 years customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great organisational and administration skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work against tight deadlines
  • Good skills with Microsoft Office
  • Sage 50
