Wessex Education Shared Services has an opportunity for a Data Compliance Administrator to join their team in Brockenhurst. This is a full-time roleoffering a competitive salary of £18,905 - £21,060 DOE.

Wessex Education Shared Services (WESS) is a pioneering shared service company operating in a Further Education environment. We provide a wide range of services to our Member college: Brockenhurst College including financial management, payroll, human resources, examinations, student records and data returns processing and IT Software development.

About our Data Compliance Administrator role:

You will be working within Management Information, Admissions, Enrolments and Financial Support, overseeing student records and data services for our colleagues.

Work to agreed policies, procedures, regulations and processes that supports the maximisation of funding income and auditable data accuracy.

As a Data Compliance Administrator you will:

  • Provide administrative support to the Student Finance & Welfare Officer
  • Coordinate data processing and cleansing activities throughout the year in order to provide accurate and complete records; for all funding streams
  • Ensure that all processing is accurate and audit compliant as per funding guidance.
  • Coordinate a yearly programme of data cleansing tasks
  • Work with colleagues to maximise the efficiencies of all processes within the remit of the service.
  • Ensure an enquiry and advisory based service is delivered in order to help college colleagues and students gather the information as required.
  • Work closely with the Management Information Business Partners, in particular with ILR validation errors, ensuring data is up-to-date, accurate, and error clean for monthly funding returns.

What we are looking for in our Data Compliance Administrator:

  • Ability to oversee the workloads of other colleagues within a team
  • Ability to work under own initiative or as part of a team
  • Ability to work to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to solve an error/problem in a logical and structured manner A skilled troubles hooter
  • Level 3 qualification
  • 5 GCSE s (at grade C or above) including maths and English
  • Experience of following processes and procedures
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines
  • Experience of delivering good customer service
