The Social Marketing Executive is responsible for the day to day management of the social media channels, both B2B and B2C from conception of a content calendar to implementation and review and is involved collaboratively with the offline teams for special projects too..

Management Consumer and Trade Social Media programmes:
•Taking direction from the Active Jobs Calendar (AJC) to develop and implement the social media and email marketing campaign strategy for brands across all social media accounts (trade and consumer).
•Briefing photography for social media and email marketing campaigns
•Using CoSchedule to proactively create relevant, creative, innovative and engaging posts for all social media platforms and brands
•Managing social advertising to drive growth within our ecommerce platforms, reporting on campaign effectiveness and making recommendations and implementing any improvements
•Liaison with key retailers and partners as appropriate to support cross promotional marketing and social media content
•Undertaking audience research and analysing the social media universe to make recommendations to ensure brands are represented in any relevant emerging channels that our customers are consuming.
•Track and analyse social media KPIs using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights and provide regular internal reports and recommendations for improvements to increase performance
Email and CRM Marketing
•Using an understanding of customer journeys, retention, acquisition and engagement to segmenting databases and audiences to target with relevant and engaging communications
•Managing a schedule of email newsletters for different audiences - trade, licensing and consumer
•Monitoring effectiveness and implementing post-campaign improvements
Management of digital Influencer programmes:
•Working to a brief to identify appropriate influencer groups for all brands and create proposal as to how to engage and drive best return
•Reaching out to identified groups with product placement and campaign initiatives, forming strong relationships to ensure brand objectives are met and campaigns delivered on time and in a coordinated way.
•Monitoring performance and reporting monthly, taking learnings to make improvements
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE
•A proven ability to create and implement successful brand building and commercial social media campaigns.
•Good understanding of customer journeys and purchasing funnel with proven ability to successfully segment and target audiences across social and email platforms
•Experience using social media scheduling and analytical tools
•Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
•Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
•A willingness to learn and adopt new skills, getting involved in all areas of the marketing department
•Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
