KM4Talent are working closely with a leading Business Advisory Firm to support them in the recruitment of an additional member of the Senior Management team. This key role of Director is a newly created position offering a balance of challenge and reward.
You are likely to be an ACA or ACCA qualified Senior Manager from a Mid or Top Tier Firm or someone who reached this level, wishing to return to the Profession from commerce and Industry.
You will have managed a client portfolio and be seeking a high-profile role where you will have strategic input into both the Firm and your clients.
Responsibilities
- As part of the Senior Management team you will be responsible for both a team of staff and a client portfolio, managing budgets, delivery and strategy.
- You will as Finance Director to larger clients, ensuring timely production of statutory accounts but also managing projects relating to systems, procedure and improvements.
- Through a team of qualified Managers, you will control the accounting services provided to your client portfolio.
- You will have active involvement in business development, strategy for the department and continual improvement and development plans for the Firm.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with Manager or above, experience, gained in an Accountancy or Outsourcing Firm.
- You will have a commercial mind-set and the ability to develop strategy and deliver improvement projects.
- Management of sizeable teams is advantageous and is the ability to multi-task across the requirement of Firm and your client portfolio.
- Strong technical and regulatory knowledge relating to UK based companies and knowledge of cloud-based accounting.
- Experience of Real Estate, Investment and UK based Groups in advantageous.
