We are currently looking for an experienced Level 3 trained Early Years Educator to work within a nursery class in a primary school from September.
The Role
In this role you will be based in the nursery class working closely with the teacher to provide stimulating and engaging range of learning activities for 3 to 4 year old pupils. The school has high expectations of both staff and pupils and your role will include responsibilities for planning, observations and assessment. You should have a good knowledge of phonics as you will take responsibility for phonics groups throughout the year leading daily sessions.
The school are looking for:
- A level 3 trained Nursery Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Good communication and team work
- Strong relationships with children - warm and nurturing
- Flexible, adaptable, happy to jump straight in!
This role is full time contract basis from September 2022 to July 2023.

The school is rated good by Ofsted and attracts pupils from a very wide range of backgrounds, and are very welcoming to all, and thrive in a culture of humour and respect. Pupils are successful, collaborative learners and behaviour is good. The school is located close to Barking station and accessible via local bus links.
