Location: Haringey
Professional Electricians required for our EICR programme, responsive repairs, and PPM eme lighting and repairs in the Haringey area.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Electrical testing and inspection.
- Completion of certification via a mobile device or PC.
- General electrical response repairs.
- Void electrical works to HFH specifications.
- Planned electrical works and preventative maintenance.
- Communal lighting and estate electrical repairs.
- Out of hours emergency. (Voluntary and if all criteria are met).
- Undertake any duties reasonably required that are consistent with the grade and basic objectives of the post.
Qualifications:
- A qualified and experienced Electrical trades person (required)
- Full driving licence (required)
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical installation or City & Guilds equivalent (required)
- Fire alarm installation and maintenance for commercial and domestic properties (useful)
- Electrical testing and inspection (useful)
- Emergency Lighting (useful)
Experience:
- Electrical maintenance/ Installation works (required)
- Testing and inspection (required)
- At least 3 years post training (required)
- Fire alarm installation and maintenance for commercial and domestic properties experience. (useful)
Skills:
- Good communication skills to liaise and consult with managers, works coordinators, clients and the public (required)
- Manage workload and use own initiative (required)
- Ability to write clear reports and comments (required)
- Use of mobile working device (useful)
- Ability to write/speak a recognised community language (useful)
Knowledge:
- installation/maintenance & testing.
