Highly successful National retailer requires a Facilities and Maintenance Manager to support circa 200 sites across the UK. This role will have full responsibility for maintenance and facilities of the central and retail estate. You will be responsible for the effective delivery of maintenance services to the portfolio of stores, the central offices and warehouses across the UK. You will use your experience of facilities management and your understanding of the business to build and implement initiatives and ideas to deliver improved efficiencies as the business expands. Managing budgets and getting best value from your contractors, you will use your experience of negotiating and agreeing contracts. You will be comfortable in setting high standards for yourself and your team. You will be forward thinking, be able to plan and implement pro-active and re-active service plans to tight budgets and controls. Key Responsibilities You will oversee the planning and execution of both preventative and reactive maintenance work across all sites Build external relationships with key contractors to provide value for money service contracts with accountable SLA's. You will plan and manage the budget plans and spend across planned and reactive maintenance contracts. With annual and quarterly reviews. Build and develop relationships across departments to provide clear plans and communication for the maintenance department. Manage all utility contracts providing detail of usage and making recommendations to control usage and manage costs across stores and central operation. Build and implement new initiatives to improve efficiency across the estate as the business develops. Plan and coordinate mid to long term investment on estate assets providing improved service and estate condition. Provide training and development for team members to improve service level to the stores and retail estate. Support and / or implement key building/ maintenance projects across the business.
