The Company

A fast-growing workwear and PPE company, who specialise in multiple sectors, including health care, corporate wear, retail, agriculture, hospitality, and retail. This company works with some well-known brands in the industry. The service offered to customers also include design, branding, and embroidery. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to bring their sales experience to a business that has big plans for the near future.

If you want to be part of the success of the business and join them at this exciting time, we will need the following:

  • Experience in direct sales within a PPE/Workwear business/Office Supplies sector, this would be an advantage
  • Competent at developing good customer relationships and supporting this with detailed account development plans
  • Some experience of tender processes and developing high quality tender submission documents
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mind-set with energy and drive to succeed
  • Ability to understand business and market challenges from the customer perspective and help develop innovative solutions to these challenges, talking in the customers language
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to customers.

The role would include but not be limited to the following:

  • Support the development, implementation, and execution of sales growth strategies through direct and supplier sales campaigns
  • Taking care of existing customers and managing new customers
  • Managing direct and group sales/bids/quotes in line with company compliance process
  • Managing some customer and supplier requirements and expectations
  • Manage/facilitate sales and upsell opportunities
  • Achieving/exceeding allocated sales
  • Supporting and working towards set sales targets and revenues
  • Accurate pipeline management & forecasting
  • Willingness to travel and on occasion stay away from home (full UK driving license required)
