Job purpose- To deliver financial support and provide administrative assistance in the delivery of the operational functions on a temporary basis.
Responsibilities-
- Undertaking financial support and administration
- To assist with management of the budget on a daily basis; ensuring robust financial monitoring systems are in place for revenue, capital, and income budgets
- Ensuring that cash reconciliation and banking facilities are conducted in accordance with established audit procedures and attention is paid to effective security arrangements
- Recording, monitoring, and compiling spreadsheets for financial recording on a weekly basis
- To raise purchase orders, receipt and produce invoices, carry out journals using the Oracle IT System
- Using multiple IT systems on a daily basis
- To assist in the purchase, lease and hiring of all plant, tools, PPE, and equipment including participation in the selection of suitable equipment and research into alternatives such as CCTV, Bodycams, Radios and Telephones.
- To maintain a detailed electronic library of safety documentation including production of risk assessments, safe working practices, COSHH, HAVs and Noise data and other documentation statutorily required in line with Health and Safety at Work Act 1980.
Requirements-
2 A levels / NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline e.g. Finance/ business administration
Health and Safety Qualifications are desirable
Excellent numeracy/literacy skills
Knowledge of parking services
Administrative/financial experience
Experience of the development, management, and operation of the administrative systems
Experience financial administrative procedures
Experience of working as a team and with members of the public
Demonstrate experience of working in a demand driven environment
Confident in sharing information and resources and knows what information can be legally and appropriately shared
