Flight Operations Coordinator

Temporary contract - Starting ASAP until 31st March 2023

£11.96 per hour

40 hours per week (hybrid working is available)

We are looking for a Fight Operations Coordinator to work for a leading airline based at London Luton Airport.

Working as part of a dynamic team in Flight Ops. They are a busy bunch accommodating aircraft documentation requirements across the network. The team have a vast range of experience and expertise in their respective areas from logistics to managing multiple Vistair applications.

Responsibilities:

FTL knowledge is essential to assist with: Running reports through the rostering system, analysing data, communicating with crew to retrieve reports, maintain a close working relationship with the FRMS department, monitor system functionality (as part of UAT testing) and development requests with support of IT.

You will also monitor certificate expiries and ensure a high degree of standard assurance on the Vistair applications to ensure Flight Operations and Training remain compliant at all times.

Oversight of all aircraft certificates: Initials, Renewals and aircraft transfers

Vistait applications: UserNet, DocuNet, CrewNet, SafetyNet

Take ownership of residual logistics support required whilst we bridge the gap to electronic solutions, ridding paper from the fleet and around the network. The support will extend to the Flight Ops Fleet Support Manager for ongoing electronic initiatives.

Monitor and prepare for aircraft end of lease requirements.

You will have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (MS Forms, Visio and Excel are key)

Show drive for efficiencies within Flight Ops for more robust and streamlined processes as well as cost saving initiatives.

Ability to deputise in the absence of the Fleet Logistics manager Support the Fleet Logistics manager on daily tasks.

Manage the FOSM update process and ensure all current processes specific to Flight Ops Support are reviewed regularly and updated to maximize efficiency within the team.

Oversight and development of jumpseat authorisations and flight bookings for flight operations.

Liaise with and maintain good working relationships with external suppliers for the provision of timely and accurate production of remaining print and bespoke items to the network

Oversight of distributing all Flight ops Documentation via AMOS.
Ideal candidate:

A self-motivator with experience working in a highly regulated, technical environment with responsibility in monitoring consistency in relation to documentation.
Ability to work to agreed SLAs with multiple customers; evidence of successfully delivering quality outputs to pre-determined standards and timescales and able to demonstrate a passion for detail and accuracy
An effective and energetic team member, working with colleagues to deliver common technical materials to multiple customers.
Able to balance multiple tasks in a time sensitive way, ensuring service standards are not compromised when meeting challenging deadlines.
Strong diary management skills whilst remaining flexible to manage last minute changes
Personable, approachable, enthusiastic, adaptable and capable of dealing with a variety of tasks at once with an ability to work well under pressure and prioritise
Excellent communicator (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, across different cultures
Self-motivated, trustworthy and discreet with good judgement and a can-do attitude
Be part of our Digital drive for efficiency; experience in Tableau software is a strong advantage.
