Our client has a permanent vacancy for a HR Advisor. This role is an integral part of the HR Team required to guide, develop, and coach people managers on all people aspects including recruitment, performance, and employee relations. The role can be worked on a hybrid basis, but weekly attendance at the Northampton office is expected. Regular travel to field sites and Centre of Excellence, as well as the ability to stay in hotels for overnight stays when required. Responsibilities Provide advice and guidance to our managers on people processes and policy to encourage good people management standards Working with managers to deliver thorough, time efficient and legally compliant case management for investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, family friendly, wellbeing and absence. Supporting Payroll Administrator with monthly payroll processing and employee benefit administration Supporting the HR Administrators to complete people administration tasks, helping to deliver an effective and agile HR service to the business Encourage smart ways of working through continuous review of people processes, use and input of people data Work with Senior HR Advisor to deliver monthly people metric reviews and HR health checks Support Head of HR and Senior HR Advisor with implementation of people projects as required Provide guidance to employees on employee lifecycle activities from onboarding to leaving including employee benefits Supporting hiring managers and the Internal Recruiter with recruitment campaigns end to end Be an advocate of our people strategy and business change activities in line with the business Triple A vision including our HR, Diversity and Sustainability strategies Act as deputy for the Senior HR Advisor when required Requirements Demonstrable HR advisor experience Good knowledge of employment law Effective communication skills Ability to think logically and practically Strong attention to detail Good analytical skills Commercial awareness Sound judgment and problem-solving skills Innovative and creative thinker Strong self-starter and initiative Resilience and ability to remain calm in challenging situations Good influencing skills with confidence to challenge constructively Professional and an overall positive attitude CIPD Level 5 is desirable Due to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application.
