Position Summary: The Application Support Specialist works to help end users with technical support and human support related to the maintenance of the app, software, and other technological systems at Leppo.

Position Duties:
  • Provide in-house technical support and problem resolution related to business application software systems, and liaison with external vendor support as appropriate.
  • Prepare maintenance plans and upgrade schedules for the organization's systems, including phone systems.
  • Provide comprehensive support via telephone and internet to end users for problems or questions related to ERP software
  • Review and determine implementation of Office 365 product built-ins
  • Guide the successful implementation of approved software application systems projects. Duties that may support this crucial responsibility are as follows:
    • Assist in planning, management, and completion of IT application projects on a wide variety of business divisions and programs including new locations and location transfers.
    • Assist in scheduling, training, reviewing, and monitoring projects to ensure progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time, and within budget. Mentors and provides expertise to other project team members.
    • Assist in defining the responsibilities of involved individuals in the project including customers, management, the project teams, vendors, and others affected by the project.
    • Accept responsibility for the upgrades and modifications to existing systems and assist in the coordination of these efforts.
    • Assist with the application configuration, go-live support, and on-going client support.
    • Ensure effective communication and relationships are maintained between customers and project team members.

Experience & Education:
  • Acceptable Driving Record
  • High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Trade School
  • 2+ years of experience with technical troubleshooting and customer support
  • Office 365 experience a plus
  • Power BI experience a plus
  • ERP system experience a plus

  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • This position requires but is not limited to lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, listening and speaking with internal and external clients. You will work in an environment with dirt and other outdoor/indoor conditions.
