Then we may have the role for you!Acorn is working with one of the largest multinational, most diverse conglomerates in the world with businesses in the UK that include some of the most successful and well known brands across the globe.The purpose of this Junior Business Analyst role is advising the serviced business areas / function on the possibilities to optimise business processes with IT solutions to meet the requirements of the business. Advising on, reviewing and approving proposed changes in applications within the supported area. The role is responsible for the identification of business processes improvements that are complex/comprehensive in nature, because it affects multiple processes with a high degree of interaction/integration, many stakeholders are involved or due to the innovative character of changes. Key duties: Expand and maintain a network within the business in order to gain in depth knowledge of the business processes and the use of IT. Advise the business on possible IT applications and organizes meetings to discuss about IT applications, to improve the business process alignment. Involve all stakeholders (business clients, vendors, specialists) to challenge current solutions to satisfy the business needs, brainstorm and discuss about the use of IT to improve the business processes. Analyse the business processes and its interactions to identify and examine new or better possibilities for IT solutions. Involve the stakeholders to find (alternative) solutions, analyses the effects of new solutions and the interactions on the related business processes. Supply information to create the business case and specify the risks and advises the business as a key platform expert in the decision making process. Discuss possibilities of proposed changes to fulfil business requirements, together with Business, IT architects and vendors.
