The team are now looking for an enthusiastic Junior /Sous Chef to join Mitton hall. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with drive and passion for excellence to join a fabulous and established team.
As Junior/Sous Chef, you are a vital part of the team and will be responsible for all dishes that are prepared within your section. It s important that you know all aspects of the menu and dishes from ingredient selection through to preparation and presentation.
You will be a hardworking individual who has a passion for creating well presented food. Ideally, you will be an enthusiastic team player who thrives in a high pressure environment:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef
Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 2 and above
Sound awareness and skill within all culinary functions
A passion for consistently high standards and attention to detail
A good communicator
Possess a strong customer service focus with the motivation to consistently drive high service levels
Results driven and motivated
Demonstrable understanding of food costs, budgets and wastage
Sound awareness of health and safety, food hygiene, COSH and HACCP legislation
