£41,798 - £46,422 per annum (dependent on skills)

Home based but with regular operational travel within Worcestershire and surrounding area

Platform Housing Group is looking for a Land Manager to join it s growing and successful Land & Partnerships Team. Reporting to and working closely with a Senior Land Manager, you will identify new opportunities across the Worcestershire/Herefordshire/Gloucestershire area utilising agents and your network.

Our Land Managers play a key role in delivering our rolling 5-year operational land supply target of both short-term opportunities and long-term strategic land to meet our corporate plan.

What could you be doing?

Identify and secure suitable S106 opportunities

Identify and implement joint ventures and partnerships with local authorities, housing associations, private developers and investors

Identify and secure land led opportunities

Identify and secure package deals with contractors and developers.

Identify opportunities to drive construction innovation including MMC, Zero Carbon, Multi-tenure product range design and sustainability

Oversee and manage planning applications and appeals for your projects to a successful conclusion and in a timely manner

You will have the opportunity to learn more about land led projects from our experienced team and will be supported to develop knowledge in our sector if working for an RP is new to you.

Some things we need from you:

High levels of motivation and diligence with a keen interest in working within a progressive and busy land team

Ideally, you will be experienced in the identification and acquisition of sites, assisting in project acquisition from identification, due diligence, offer, contract, purchase, planning to pre-start on the sites acquired - however we can support you in this area if you are keen to learn

The ability to manage the performance of your own projects to meet the company s objectives

Ideally, you will have experience of finding potential land development opportunities through a range of methods e.g., reviewing statutory development plans, housing land audits, potential change of uses and liaising with a broad contact base such as agents, promoters and landowners

You will be well organised and excellent at building relationships

Although this role is home based, the team meet weekly in our Worcester office and there will be regular operational travel around the patch to manage your projects effectively therefore a driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.
