This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RMN or RNLD who is looking for a new role in Supported Living Accommodation across London! Our client has three positions available at present.

The Company

Our client is an independent provider of high-quality supported living and residential care for people living with autism, mental health conditions, learning disabilities, forensic backgrounds, behaviours that challenge amongst other complex care needs.

They have been providing specialist care for over 15 years and their mission is to make a real difference to the lives of of vulnerable individuals, by providing a person-centred care approach, that helps them overcome their mental health and disability problems, improve their health and wellbeing with the hope of improving their quality of life. Through meaningful activities the residents will discover new enjoyments and pleasures in life that have been limited in their previous placement.

The Role

As a Peripatetic Nurse RMN or RNLD for our client you ll travel across your region covering the different services in the greater London area to deliver high clinical standards within the client s residential services. Day-to-day to you will look to lead a multi-disciplinary team to make sure that on each shift, at every location, all of the residents get the highest quality care.

As part of your role, you will be making sure new residents are settling in, helping advance your team members skills and developing care plans that are tailored to the residents physical and mental needs. You ll have the freedom and autonomy to make decisions based on best practices and in line with CQC, NICE and NMC guidelines.

The aspects of your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Planning, assessing, delivering and evaluating individual care
  • Leading, motivating and mentoring the care teams across each site to ensure effective deployment and smooth and efficient running of the service
  • Liaise with the internal and external Multi-Disciplinary Team involved in the well-being of individual residents to maintain a holistic approach to their care
  • Promoting the residents independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care
  • Helping to maintain accurate records, undertaking ongoing training and getting involved in welcoming and training new staff, you will be an integral part of the wider team and the service.
  • Be part of an on-call rota with other similarly qualified individuals
    • To work in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council s The Code - Professional standards of practice and behaviour and relevant professional guidelines.
    • Responsible to Registered Manager / MDT Lead
    • Accountable to Clinical Director / Responsible Individual / CEO


  • Valid and Clear NMC PIN as an RMN or RNLD
  • Full UK Drivers license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understand and competent with Positive Behavioural Support Care Plans and engagement
  • 2 years post registration experience preferred
  • Experience within a multitude of different mental health settings including PICU, CAMHS, step down units and challenging behaviours is ideal
  • Demonstrate principles of accountable practice as a RMN or RNLD
