A Marketing & Business Development Executive is required to join a global legal firm on a 12 month fixed term contact basis to support the firm's lawyers in winning work from prospects, existing clients and intermediaries.

This will be a varied and exciting role supporting the firm's Business Division in Europe, with a focus on the charities, corporate and commercial real estate practice areas as well as certain sector groups. Unlike many other law firm marketing and BD positions, this role will not be focused on pitch production, although business development will be a key component. This will include marketing and business development campaigns, winning new work and raising the firm's profile. The firm's client base is truly fascinating, and because their focus is on private capital and individuals, there is scope to run more engaging campaigns than elsewhere in the sector. The Marketing & Business Development Executive will support the Business Division team on all aspects of marketing and business development activity to win work from new contacts to the firm and from existing clients. This will include marketing and business planning, supporting fee earners on their personal marketing plans and supporting all stages of converting an opportunity to work. Although the BD team is supported by specialists in Digital, PR, Brand and CRM, the role holder will have the opportunity at times to turn their hand to the full marketing mix in supporting a variety of different groups. The successful applicant will play a lead role in relation to some of the firm's major campaigns and marketing projects, support the legal directories submission process, organise events and webinars and work closely with the CRM Manager on specific pipeline management initiatives and encouraging the use of the firm's CRM system.

Passionate, ambitious and enthusiastic, the ideal candidate will possess previous relevant professional services experience, ideally gained within a law firm. The Marketing & Business Development Executive will be confident talking to a range of people from senior partners to new joiners and other law firm management professionals. In addition, you will need to bring both creativity and attention to detail to your work and have the persistence and dedication to see ideas through to execution.
