Job Title: Head of Marketing & Impact

Hours: 37 hours per week. Flexible start time of 8am to 10am and flexible finish time of 4pm to 6pm. Additional flexible options may be available at the line managers discretion and in line with the organisation s needs. Some occasional work in the evenings and early mornings may be required.

Holidays: 28 days per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays

Salary: Up to £45K

Pension: Up to 10% matching contribution to group personal pension scheme.

Plus 4 x basic salary cover for death in service.

Responsible to: Chief Executive

Job Purpose: To develop and implement a marketing strategy for the company and its individual funds and services.

To ensure that information and communications regarding the company is clear and consistent within the organisation as a whole, its delivery partners, stake holders and the business community so that our market positioning remains strong both regionally and nationally.

Main duties:

Marketing:

To develop and implement a marketing strategy that will enable the company to achieve its goals and mission, executed via a creative and innovative marketing plan.

To develop and implement targeted marketing strategies for the different funds delivered by the company in collaboration with the relevant Fund Managers.

Undertake research, planning, social media, advertising, public relations, event organisation, sponsorship, and other activities in pursuance of the marketing strategy.

Work alongside an external PR agency to develop content for funding stories, thought leadership pieces, other good news and marketing positioning pieces.

Effectively line manage the organisation s Digital Marketing Assistant, who is responsible for social media management and producing digital content. Review and approve their work to ensure it is in line with the marketing plan and meets company brand guidelines.

Liaising and networking with a wide range of stakeholders to promote promoting the funds and services of the company.

Organise events, conferences, seminars in collaboration with other relevant organisations as appropriate.

To review and evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing activities and initiatives in terms of generating new business.

Creating and managing email nurture/lead generation campaigns.

To attend meetings and events throughout the West Midlands as appropriate.

To undertake internal marketing for the company and ensure that effective lines of communication are in place amongst and between all team members

Successfully set, manage and control a marketing budget ensuring that the strategy is implemented within budget along with making sure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment.

Responsible for ensuring company branding is correct, consistent and up-to-date across all communication platforms.

Ensure that stakeholder branding - particularly for funding partners - is always up-to-date and ensure company compliance with their brand guidelines.

In collaboration with Head of BD, develop an excellent working relationship with the Business Development Team to ensure that they are accurately delivering company messaging and are onboard with the organisation s marketing strategy.

Develop key stakeholder relationships, notably with funding partners. Negotiate and liaise with various third-party intermediaries and agencies such as web developers, advertising agencies, printers and other marketing services.

Deliver internal and external presentations when necessary.

Work with the Sales team to develop a collaborative approach to achieving growth strategies and communicating brand messages.
