Avencia Consulting are working with a leading provider of Specialty Insurance and Reinsurance, based in the City, who are looking to hire a Messaging Analyst to join on a permanent basis.
The role
This role is an essential part of the Technical Operations Team, and the purpose of the role is to process all the electronic messages received in a timely manner.
Key accountabilities
Premium Messages
- Review and resolve the premium error messages, ensuring the messages get processed in a timely manner.
- Work with the Credit Control and Finance teams to ensure that the message priority processing is in line with our aged debt, unallocated cash and IPT reporting requirements.
Claims Messages
- Review and resolve the claims error messages, ensuring the messages get processed in a timely manner.
- Work with the Credit Control and Finance teams to ensure that the message priority processing is in line with our aged debt, unallocated cash and IPT reporting requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- Involvement in key meetings including Aged Debt meetings.
- Work with the Credit Control and Finance teams to ensure that the message priority processing is in line with our aged debt, unallocated cash and IPT reporting requirements.
- Attend the weekly meetings with third party partners.
Skills & experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience of the bureau market processes
- A practical understanding of Underwriting and policy administration systems.
- Basic competency in MS Office applications: Word and Adobe Standard required.
- Advanced Outlook and Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to master new concepts quickly and take initiative with own personal development.
- Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders both internal and externally across the Company.
- Must be able to self-lead and work effectively both independently and with teams.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver and manage accurate thoughtful detail-oriented work within tight deadlines.
