Our client, a premium hotel in the Surrey Hills, is looking an experienced Night Hotel Receptionist to join their team on a temp to perm basis, working from 10.30pm to 7am.
As a Night Hotel Receptionist, customer care will be your first priority and you must be friendly and personable in nature and be able to maintain a high professional standard of service at all times. To be considered for this role, you must be fully trained already to use OPERA PMS and also be fully night audit trained.
Main duties of the Hotel Receptionist:
Be fully trained to use OPERA PMS and fully night audit trained.
As Hotel Receptionist, you will provide reception services for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out
Assist with and complete audits, as required.
Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as required
Ensure that both the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or other departments
Always demonstrate a high level of customer service
Attend appropriate training courses, when required, and be an integral part with the Day / Night Team's training and development efforts
Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
Use the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems
Follow company brand standards
Assist other departments, as necessary
Must be fully trained to use OPERA PMS and night audit trained

The successful Night Hotel Receptionist will be working 10.30pm to 7am - 5 out of 7 days a week on a rota basis. The hourly rate for this position is £11 per hour on a temp to perm basis.
