Position Summary Our electronics client based in Lymington are seeking an experienced Office and Sales Administrator. Who provides proactive support to the Sales team and customers to enable the most efficient sales process and high levels of customer service. The Office and Sales Administrator will take responsibility for processing purchase orders in a timely manner whilst working with our production and dispatch teams to ensure customers are kept fully informed regarding lead times and delivery schedules. There is a requirement to provide general office support and administration to Sensors and Controls and the wider Group.Position Responsibilities
  • Establishing lead times for quotations and orders
  • Processing customer purchase orders
  • Acknowledging orders and communicating delivery times to customers
  • Updating customers with pricing adjustments
  • Pro-actively managing customer queries to ensure they are resolved in a timely fashion to create a positive customer experience
  • Keeping customer information up to date, ensuring customer data is accurate and customers are allocated to the correct sales person / account manager
  • Producing order reports
  • Completing Export Licence applications
  • Working with the commercial team to identify and implement opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and commercial results
  • Answering telephones and directing enquiries
  • Ensuring conference rooms and refreshments are prepared for external and internal Sales meetings
  • Organising travel and accommodation for customers and sales staff
  • Assisting with other Group general administrational and organisational tasks
Position Requirements
  • The ability to focus, prioritise and work to a high standard
  • Previous sales support or administration experience
  • Fluent in Microsoft packages

This is a full-time, permanent position with typical working hours of Monday to Thursday 07.30 am till 16.15pm and Friday 07.30am to 12.00pm. Immediate start available for the right candidate.
