Processing customer purchase orders received onto the System (Sage50)
Allocating backorders, liaising with purchasing in order to complete these tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
Responding to customer queries regarding orders.
Provide customers with order confirmations and lead times as required, keeping them informed on their back-orders.
Deal with any enquiries efficiently and to a standard satisfactory to the customer and the business
Answer incoming phone calls regarding new, existing orders and general enquires.
Assist accounts team with any invoicing queries or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate job filing systems
The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic team player but also able to work using their own initiative and be proactive, work well under pressure and be used to working to tight deadlines.
Previous experience Order Processing and Customer Service is desirable but not essential
Able to adapt to change and job role progression

First class communications skills
Computer literate skills are essential
