As the PMO Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight and administration of a Technology Project Portfolio. This role includes the management of the full project lifecycle of a large portfolio, with a focus on aligning programs, projects and operations to strategic objectives, and measure, rank and prioritize those programs and projects within the portfolio. This includes leading project level reviews, optimizing and maintaining project standards, proactively identifying improvement, analytical reporting and management of staff. The Portfolio Manager will also need to interact with all levels within the organization to identify potential projects that best align with the strategic priorities of the firm.

How youll spend your time:
  • Managinga project portfolio covering a wide range of cross-departmental initiatives from intake to delivery.
  • Deliver and maintain a portfolio plan and roadmap for development showing key milestones, phase reviews and dependencies.
  • Collaborating with leadership team, technical managers and business sponsors to provide a comprehensive overview of programs and projects within portfolio.
  • Performing project scheduling, resource planning and management.
  • Working with all levels of leadership and associates to ensure project initiatives are managed and maintained while developing executive level presentations of the portfolio and project budget.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to define an approach to create a roadmap for future development of products, processes and systems.
  • Providing quality assurance that initiatives are being well managed and adhering to appropriate standards and good practice.
Were excited to talk with you if you have :
  • You have aBachelors Degreeand15 years of experience in information technology portfolio, program and/or project management, including at least 3 years in managing staff in a project management and/or technical roles.
  • You have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • You have banking or financial services experience. Although this is not required, it is highly desired.
  • You have knowledge and experience in managing project metho
  • You have demonstrated competency in developing and managing complex project plans, timelines, budgets and critical paths.
  • You have demonstrated thorough knowledge and related work experience of the project management process and lifecycle including Waterfall and Agile methodology.
  • You have experience in creating and delivering executive level presentations.
  • You have proven consultative, conflict resolution, negotiation and facilitation skills to gain consensus and ensure delivery of initiatives.
  • You have athorough understanding of information technology and its application to business issues, the use of information technology in a strategic context to an end and is conversant with current technology and trends. Particular areas of interest for the open position are in Core Banking (Deposits, Lending Systems) and Data Analytics and Operations.
