This opportunity is full-time Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

In this role, you will:

  • Obtain pre-certifications and pre-authorizations for tests Work with Clients & Payers on obtaining prior authorization for tests required by insurance payer. 
  • Collaborate with ordering physicians to obtain medical records for certifications, audits, and appeals.
  • Properly identify payments or denial errors
  • Effectively communicate to insurance companies the need for a review of our claims.

All you need is:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in medical billing
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Bonus points if you've got:

  • Medical Billing & Coding Certification
  • 1+ year of experience in pre-authorization or prior authorization
  • 1+ year experience in independent laboratory medical billing
