Our client is a well regarded and very successful global IT services business with numerous offices worldwide. Due to continued growth of their business they are now seeking 3 x Project Managers to join their PMO practice where you will be working on numerous IT infrastructure projects for their enterprise customers.
The role of the Project Manager is to support the company strategy through effective project delivery, within budget and time frame to meet customer needs, and requires a minimum of 3 years of PM experience and a strong infrastructure background as a senior system administrator/engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
End to end project management - Project planning, documentation, scheduling, finances, tracking, technical handover
Act as liaison between customers and team members as required
Act as single customer point of contact and point of escalation in relation to projects
Chair and minute weekly project meetings with internal & external stakeholders
Ensure completion of project pre-requisites prior to project commencing
Review and edit of engineers time sheets
Create project reports for directors and larger customers
Attend resource capacity reviews with Sales and Operations Directors
Ensure 100% customer satisfaction in relation to project delivery
Continuous focus on process improvement and efficient working methods
Complete performance reviews and ensure all team members have active development plans
Qualifications & Experience:
Project management qualification (Prince 2, PMP etc)
At least 3 years delivering IT Infrastructure projects (eg. cloud/security/datacenter/networks/Microsoft etc.)
At least 5+ years project management experience
Experience in a project management lead role would be beneficial for one of the open vacancies
Experience in a managed service / IT provider would be desirable but not essential
