Position Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall day-to-day operations of a branch Purchasing team including performance management and development.

  • Lead a team of buyers to ensure branch distribution centers are always in stock to maintain a high service level. 

  • Maintain and build relationships with vendors and distribution management.

  • Partner with product managers to solve vendor issues, vendor changes and potential product additions.

  • Recruit, retain, and mentor branch Buying team to achieve purchasing goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree. 

  • 7 years of purchasing and/or inventory management experience.

  • 5 years of experience managing and leading a team.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
