Quality Manager - Manufacturing Position Overview

Ensuring that health and safety regulations are always met
Determining quality control standards
Deal directly with OEM supply chain
Drive improvements in production efficiency
Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programmes
Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met
Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
Collate and analyse data, putting together production reports for both factory managers and customers
Supervise and motivate a team of workers
Review worker performance and identify training needs, ability to train, mentor, and equip personnel for success
Assist Production Manager to select equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance to ensure consistent quality output
Initiate and implement various processes to ensure production deadlines are met
Proficient in Six-Sigma
Proven track record in Kaizen, Lean, and 5s processes
Proven record of delivering quality products to customers, right first time
Liaise with development team to ensure customer drawing specifications can be achieved consistently within production
Produce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analyses, or quality trends
Oversees the collection and production samples to evaluate quality
Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods or stability samples
Perform the quality inspection process of new part samples and record the data
Check dimensions and surface quality of random batches of finished products to ensure they meet all company quality standards
Inspect all product returns, analyse the defect, and document the findings
Investigate customer complaints regarding quality issues and develop a solution
Produce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analyses, or quality trends

Quality Manager - Manufacturing Position Requirements

Experienced in managing quality within an environment and work force more than 40 people
Excellent organisation, planning and execution skills
Leading and Managing Continuous Improvement & Problem-Solving Strategies
Lead and attend production, operational and management meetings
Improving Process Efficiency to deliver quality products
Identify opportunities and process to minimise operational cost and improve product quality
Efficient time management
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt trained and accredited
Total Productive Maintenance
Risk assessing and commissioning new equipment
Excellent Communication Skills, at all levels from shop floor to management teams, both written and verbal
Budget control
Managing supply chains for raw materials and consumables
First hand experience dealing with Tier 1 OEM customers
Developing team identifying training needs using personal development plans - such as 5 why training
Maintaining plant quality monitoring systems
Very confident in all areas of Microsoft Office
Review customer schedules to identify and highlight areas of quality riskKnowledge of
