This is a wonderful opportunity to enter the finance industry. This role is an entry-level position, ideal for a school or University leaver looking for a new career.

This role will be reporting to the Sales Team Leader. The ideal candidate will support the back office functions of our Sales team to process complex BTL and commercial mortgage applications introduced by external business relationships with quality Brokers, Clubs and Networks. Learning from the ground up the sales process and the wider scope of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide back-office administration support to the team of field-based BDM s and the Sales Team Leader with processing all mortgage applications introduced by external introducers within the Company s published SLAs.
  • To ensure timely, accurate and appropriate responses to all telephone calls/enquiries/transactions or correspondence from all external introducers.
  • Proactively calling out to external introducers.
  • To maintain relationships with external introducers and maximize the business opportunities from these relationships.
  • Liaising with multiple internal departments on varying matters.
  • Duties will include extracting information and reporting from our in-house CRM system, updating and collating information across multiple departments, liaising with external information systems, and registering brokerages and individuals.
  • Learn from the ground up how a mortgage application travels through to completion, paying attention to issues that can arise and how to overcome them.
  • Reviewing mortgage applications, cross-referencing with Land Registry, Kamma and local planning portals.
  • Attend in-house training sessions with multiple departments and different 3rd party IT programs.

Experience and Skills

  • Intermediate IT skills, Excel and Word are a must have
  • Knowledge of CRM advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work independently when required
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
