School Administrator Temporary Sussex
Reed Education are supporting a number of schools across Sussex who are seeking strong administration staff to join their schools on a temporary basis. Ideally you will have experience working in an educational setting, although not essential.
The majority of our clients would be looking for people to commit on a long term basis, however some assignments might be on a short term ad hoc basis.
Typical School Administrator Duties
- Assist with the smooth running of the school office
- First contact for visitors, parents and pupils
- Ensure all enquiries are dealt with effectively and efficiently i.e. taking messages, answering the telephone etc
- Administrative duties such as filing, completion of forms and photocopying
- Ensure pupil records are updated accurately
- Undertake some financial administration
Experience and Knowledge
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular, Word and Excel
- Experience working in a school or an educational setting
- Experience maintaining and updating systems
A DBS would be required for this type of role but this can be provided if required.
