Teaching Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Science tutor on behalf of a successful secondary school in Sunderland, to support KS3 and KS4 students from September 2022.

About the role
The required science tutor will be supported by a dedicated Tuition Manager and will work alongside excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. The desired tutor must be comfortable with delivering focused interventions to small groups of students who have gaps in their chemistry, physics and biology knowledge, in preparation for their GCSE's.
The school are looking for a tutor available to up to 3 days per week, with groups of pupils from September 2022. This role is likely to continue throughout the academic year.
Qualified Teacher Status
Excellent knowledge of the Secondary science curriculum
Experience working within schools or previous tutoring experience
Patience coupled with the ability to engage a small group of students
A child workforce only DBS on the update service is highly desirable
