This school caters for children and young people between the age of 7-19 with additional learning needs. SEN Teacher: This SEN Teacher role is set to begin in September. There is a teaching assistant based in the class to help support classroom behaviour and general learning and understanding of students. The school are looking for an experienced SEN teacher who is a qualified primary teacher. The reason for this is that he/she will be teaching general subjects to KS3. Knowledge of early years handwriting, reading, phonics and communication is key. Students abilities range from P-levels 5-NC3/4 across the ages. The school: This school offer day and residential provision to students with a diverse range of needs including moderate to severe and complex learning needs, sensory processing difficulties and associated speech, language and communication difficulties, including autistic spectrum disorders.
