The Job:
We are looking for an experienced, proactive individual to join our client s successful team as a Senior Business Development Manager. Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for identifying and gaining new clients across the Public Sector, which includes the NHS, Councils, Schools, Blue Light Services, Government agencies and departments. You will be focused on securing large national public sector apprenticeship contracts through driving activity, especially focused on networking, and securing face to face meetings with decision makers. You will play a key role in meeting our growth plans. You will need excellent presenting skills and the ability to develop key strategic relationships at a senior level as well as experience in the apprenticeship market.

What will you be doing?

Evaluate the market landscape and create a robust strategy to create new business opportunities within the Public Sector
Develop and deliver high calibre propositions and presentations to Public Sector representatives at senior and board level
Secure new business and develop the relationships gained to maximise apprenticeship growth
Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to develop Apprenticeship offerings with compelling value propositions for Public Sector employers to secure new business
The Person:

Strong experience within a client facing Business Development or Account Manager role within the apprenticeship market
Ability to communicate effectively at senior level in a professional manner (verbal, written)
You ll have outstanding networking skills and a truly consultative style
Experienced in engaging at senior levels along with excellent presentation skills
Excellent IT skills
A flexible approach and a passion for success
Desire to work in a fast moving, entrepreneurial, challenging but rewarding environment
Driven self-starter, self-sufficient, responsible for hitting and exceeding your targets
The Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm
