They offer an award winning online and mobile trading platform, enabling clients to trade up to 10,000 financial instruments across shares, indices, foreign currencies, commodities and treasuries through contracts for difference.

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior content strategist; someone with a proven track record of creating, leading and measuring content campaigns within our industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a great work ethos to join a fast-paced environment and to steer the content strategy for a leading global Fintech company.

You will be required to have a good understanding of derivative trading, leveraging your knowledge and experience to help create tactical content that will provide benefit to our users, while also driving high-value organic traffic to achieve key objectives. The role holder will work directly with the Global Head of SEO to ensure content strategy is feeding into overall global acquisition strategy delivering growth and profit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage content production to deliver profitable search engine rankings in new and existing markets
  • Formulate necessary strategies to drive profitable content growth
  • Monitoring and reporting on campaign results
  • Tactically utilising in-house content, creative and video assets to generate profitable SEO campaigns
  • Contribute to the brand and content across different departments/projects to maximise SEO content opportunities
  • Developing content that can achieve exposure on 3rd party sites
  • Present regular KPI reports to senior stakeholders showing return on investment and progress achieved
  • Work with other teams and stakeholders to identify commercial SEO growth areas
  • Keep abreast of industry news and trends to ensure the business is always on the cutting edge of SEO

Essential Criteria:

  • Solid SEO experience covering strategic and hands-on activities (e.g., on-page optimisation recommendations, content creation and tactical SEO)
  • Experience managing agencies and SEO executives/senior executives
  • Solid content skills (copywriting, understanding the value of content for SEO and how to create content in order to achieve the best rankings)
  • Strong reporting skills

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience managing and executing advanced link-building strategies (PR, outreach, content, social media etc.)
  • Experience or knowledge of CFD trading and spread betting
  • Experience of working in a FCA regulated industry
  • Interest in financial products, markets or economics
