Skilled Equipment/Warehouse and Maintenance Person
The Zetica warehouse is the hub for all site work that Zetica undertakes. Equipment management, efficient usage of resources, are what enable our operational teams to do their work.
Zetica are a technical and geophysical consultancy. The applicant we are looking for should have a punctual, meticulous nature and be keen to help other people. There is an important administrative side to this position which requires good email and excel skills.
A positive and team-oriented character will be required to help with equipment maintenance and support for other teams. It s a dynamic working environment where you ll work under pressure at times.
Tasks include but this is not exclusive:
Understanding what equipment is to be prepared for what teams and when.
Keeping track of what equipment is mobilised.
Daily and monthly vehicle checks.
Ensuring equipment is cleaned and ready for the next mission.
Ensuring the warehouse is clean and safe to be compliant with H&S laws for the employees as well as for the company.
Ensuring PPE, first aid equipment and general consumables are sufficiently stocked and purchased at the right price.
Goods in/out, packaging, couriers and ideally some international shipping.
You need to be an experienced and confident driver with ideally a clean driver s licence who can be flexible with their working times on occasions when project work runs late.
An independent thinker who is good at working for another person and as part of a team.
Zetica offer a good salary, a health care cash plan, and enrolment into the profit share scheme which the company has paid out on for some years. The scheme is not guaranteed and payment ratio increases over the first five years of employment.
This position would require a person to lift and load, and be in good physical condition.
