Known as one of the best multi-discipline consultancies in the country with offices spanning across the UK and 25 years experience in the Engineering sector, this company are now looking to expand their already strong and established Sustainability team with a versatile Sustainability Consultant.
This consultancy boasts over 300 staff in numerous locations around the UK, working in a range of different disciplines such as Civils, Structures, Building Services, Nuclear and Project management to name a few. Their Leeds team currently stands at around 19 strong and is known for their successful sociable nature as well as their recent growth over the last 3 / 4 years.
Like a lot of others, this company put sustainability at the heart of their principals and encourage all Engineers to live and design in the most sustainable manner possible. They have a sustainability division within the Buildings team which help implement green principals throughout the company demonstrating their commitment to helping change the planet.
You will be working alongside Junior, Intermediate and Senior consultants on a range of projects, all working towards the one common goal of designing the most sustainable buildings possible. Ideally the successful Sustainability Consultant will have some experience in Building Physics with TAS and be interested in becoming BREEAM AP certified. Someone with an understanding of buildings sustainability looking to kick on with their career and work with a company that have a real passion for their work.
What they require from the successful Sustainability Consultant?
A Sustainability specific degree, ideally within Buildings
A relevant degree qualification and ideally working towards chartership if not already.
An understanding of BREEAM with the desire to become BREEAM AP
Sociable, outgoing and professional manner
Versatile individual with the ability to put your hand to several different projects in different sectors.
Familiar with software packages such as Revit, TAS or IES. What they can offer the successful Sustainability Consultant?
