Technical IT Service Delivery Manager £75k + benefits Reading (Hybrid)
I am working with a growing global company who are looking for a cracking Technical Service Delivery Manager to come in and lead their IT Service Management in a complex technical environment. This is a hands-on role which will see you working right across the business to ensure that highly available, business aligned, and valuable services are able to be provided. You'll need to have customer service at the heart of everything you do, and be adept in translating technical jargon into understandable business language for stakeholders.
My client are looking to bring someone on board who has hands-on delivery with Service Design, Service Transition, Continual Improvement, and Service Operation. You'll need to have plenty of experience adhering to best practice within ITSM/ITIL, ideally with qualifications to back up this experience. You will be working specifically on a complex payroll system, ensuring that this is delivered flawlessly to a large number of high-profile clients. You will ideally have worked in a Salesforce environment and have an Administration qualification on the platform. You will have ideally delivered Microsoft-based products and services and have worked with .NET/SQL Server.
Communication is key in this role. You'll be working closely with C-Level stakeholders and global directors, and managing a growing team (initially around 5 employees, with the vision of growing this team). You'll be a huge advocate of service and bring the ability to identify opportunities and efficiency's to maximise service delivery and customer experience. You'll also be able to use data to drive decision making and perform analysis, to really help drive the team forward. The client have spent a lot of time and money on their cloud offering, so experience working with Azure is key to success in this role (this role will also give you the chance to increase your experience on the platform).
You'll also definitely bring a "thought leader mentality" to this role, with the ability to educate and engage the wider business on emerging Infrastructure and technology within your area, using your knowledge to drive the business forward. You will also have to have experience managing third-party suppliers and ensuring a solid service is delivered from them.
