£21.5K - Permanent - Full Time - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week. Flexible start from 8.00am - 9.00pm and finish from 4.00pm -5.00pm.

Job Description:

Working as part of a team, the main purpose of the Trainee CAD System Designer is to design mechanical ventilation systems using Revit software, provide accurate parts lists and design guidance to colleagues and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Translate internal and external customer enquiries into mechanical ventilation system designs; with supporting part lists and proposal letters where required.
  • Utilise Revit to produce mechanical ventilation system drawings to suit new and existing properties.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current building, environmental and other legislative regulations.
  • Responsible for prioritising workload to ensure an average turnaround time of 5 working days or less; with 100% accuracy level for all designs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, and colleagues relating to general enquires or quotation and design information.
  • Ensure quotations are raised using accurate bills of materials. Create quotation letter where required.

  • Have used CAD at College/University/in work
  • Be looking for an opportunity to put their CAD experience to use in a work-based environment
